Description

Paddle the Park Series: Morgan Falls to Powers Island

Friday, July 18

9:00 AM launch (trip will take approximately 1.5-3 hours including shuttle, and time on the water can vary depending on water levels and how much participants paddle)

Join Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy (park Friends group) for a guided paddle series in partnership with Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC)! Whether you’re a seasoned paddler or brand new to the river, this is your chance to experience the beauty of the Chattahoochee from a whole new perspective. Each trip highlights a different stretch of the river, from peaceful flatwater floats—all led by expert NOC guides.

This is a calm, beginner-friendly paddle through forested riverbanks and open water views (4 miles, mostly flatwater with class I shoals).

What's Included:

  • Kayak or ducky (inflatable kayak), paddle, & life jacket
  • Guided trip with NOC experts
  • Safety instruction and river interpretation
