Title: Queerness in the Marin Headlands

Description: Come celebrate the diverse stories of our park and explore the history of queerness in the Marin Headlands with a Park Ranger.
This program will feature a moderate hike (0.8 miles one way + 0.8 miles back) with some incline, out to Tennessee Point. A park ranger can lead you back to the parking area as well, making the total hike 1.6 miles.
Along the way, we will explore queer stories in the Marin Headlands. You will have the opportunity to share your own stories as well!
This hike will feature and focus on stories and themes of queerness. Queer folks and allies are encouraged to attend.

No Reservation is Required! We will meet in the Rodeo Beach Coastal Trailhead which is located at the far end of the Rodeo Beach parking lot near the beach restrooms. Uniformed Park Rangers will be there waiting for you promptly at 2pm! (Please look for the uniformed National Park Service Ranger and check in with them).

Our guides will lead you on 0.8-mile guided hike out to Tennessee Point. They will return back to the starting point at Rodeo Beach, accompanying any attendees wishing to return back to the Rodeo Beach starting point (0.8 miles back for a total of 1.6 miles)
