Cades Cove Star Party

Join rangers and local astronomy club members to learn about the night sky and view the stars. Weather permitting (cancelled if cloudy). Bring red flashlight, walking shoes, and picnic blanket or camp chairs. Meet at Cades Cove Orientation Shelter (near Cades Cove Loop Road entrance). Rangers will walk visitors to the stargazing field on Cades Cove Loop Road at sunset (about 7:40pm).

Location

Meet at Cades Cove Orientation Shelter (just before entrance to Cades Cove Loop Road). Rangers will walk visitors to the stargazing field on Cades Cove Loop Road at sunset (about 7:40pm).

Schedule

Meet at Orientation Shelter and walk down to stargazing field with ranger at sunset.
