Booming on the Battlefield
Join the Shiloh Cannon Crew as they present Civil War artillery demonstrations on the battlefield. In honor of Memorial Day weekend, the Shiloh Cannon Crew will offer cannon firing demonstrations on both Saturday, May 28, and Sunday, May 29.
The demonstrations will include two cannon firings per program featuring a reproduction Model 1841, 6-pounder Field Piece. The programs will take place across the street from the Visitor Center.
On Saturday the demonstrations will take place at 10:00 am, 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 3:00 pm. On Sunday the demonstrations will take place at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 2:30 pm. Each program will last approximately 20-minutes.
