War of 1812 Gunsmithing Program
Monroe, Michigan –The River Raisin National Battlefield Park announces the War of 1812 Gunsmithing Program will take place on February 11 & 12 2023 from 11:00am to 4:00pm at the River Raisin National Battlefield Park’s Visitor Center.
This program is free to the public. Using tools and methods from the War of 1812 era, living history master gunsmith and apprentices will demonstrate how firearms were built, repaired, and maintained in the early 1800s during the age of the flintlock.
Location: River Raisin National Battlefield Park Visitor Center 333 North Dixie Highway Monroe, MI 48162. Hours: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
