November Lantern Tour

On Saturday November 7, Kings Mountain National Military Park will be offering our next lantern tour! The program is free, but space is limited to 50 participants, so registration is required. Registration opens on November 6, 2026 at 10:00AM EST. The program topic is “The Aftermath of the Battle of Kings Mountain." We will be following the 1.5-mile battlefield trail, which though paved is steep in several places, so dress for the weather and wear good walking shoes. Lanterns will be available for those who wish to carry one. Visitors should arrive at the Kings Mountain National Military Park Visitor Center (2300 Park Road, Blacksburg SC 29702) at 5:45PM and the program will end by 8:00PM.
