Description
Join Anza-Borrego Desert State Park staff for a guided hike near Anza historic campsite 52! Commemorate Anza 250 by visiting the campsite on the same day the expedition passed through 250 years ago.
Itinerary:
-Start at Coyote Creek at El Vado in Coyote Canyon
-Hike toward campsite 53 Arroyo de Santa Catharina/Catarina
-Return to Vern Whitaker Horse Camp near the El Vado Historical Marker around campsite 52
Sunday December 21 from 10 am – 3 pm
Meet at Vern Whitaker Horse Camp, Borrego Springs CA 92004
Walking sticks advised, as well as at least 3 liters of water per person.
