Description

The Artist-in-Residence Program at Acadia National Park opens its 2021 visitor season with a Virtual Brown Bag Meet & Greet with Rachel Suzanne Smith from noon to 12:45 pm, Fri May 14.

Smith is an artist, metalsmith, and fabrication lab supervisor at Oberlin College. Her work reflects themes of identity, ornament and the human desire to connect with the outdoors and nature. Through the use of adornment, her works allow wearers to surround themselves in arrangements and clusters of plants.

This interactive conversation will take place as a video conference meeting over Microsoft Teams. Please download and install the free app in advance. Auto captioning is available as a feature of the app.
