Junior Ranger Programs (Self-Guided)

Dinosaur National Monument

  • Every day at 8:00 AM from June 25, 2024 to July 17, 2024
  • Free

Junior Ranger booklets are available for kids, kids-at-heart, and anyone who wishes to learn more about the park in a fun and engaging way! You can pick up FREE at park Visitor Centers or the Quarry Exhibit Hall whenever these buildings are open.

How do I participate? This is a self-guided program. Simply ask a ranger for an activity book, try your best to do as many activities as your age (up to 15 pages), and turn in the booklet when you're done to earn your Junior Ranger badge. Two booklet options are available for readers and pre-readers. Visit our Junior Ranger webpage to print a Dinosaur Junior Ranger booklet, learn more about the program, or email us pictures of your completed booklet to earn a badge. Some books from the National Junior Ranger program may also be available upon request.
