Description
Cape Cod National Seashore will kick off its annual winter film festival with the theme, “Sources of Solace and Inspiration”. The films will show on six consecutive Sundays at 1:30 pm on the theatre-size screen at Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham. The festival is co-sponsored by the Friends of Cape Cod National Seashore. Movies are free and open to the public.
Details for February 16: Close Encounters of the Third Kind (2 hr. 15 min.) Close Encounters of the Third Kind is a 1977 American science fiction drama film written and directed by Steven Spielberg. The film depicts the story of Roy Neary, an everyday blue-collar worker in Indiana, whose life changes after an encounter with an unidentified flying object; and Jillian, a single mother whose three-year-old son was also abducted by a UFO.
