A Tribute to Paul Laurence Dunbar - Concert by Bach Society of Dayton

Concert features three premieres of new choral works set to Dunbar poems by Dr. Adolphus Hailstork and two winners of the Bach Society's Young Composers Competition. New compositions were sponsored by Montgomery County Special Projects Grant. Concert includes other choral works set to Dunbar texts and of works of his time. Performers include Dr. Minnita Daniel-Cox, soprano soloist, Dr. Herbert Woodward Martin, recitations, Bach Society Chorus, John Neely, music director, and R. Alan Kimbrough, accompanist.
