Join us at the African Burial Ground National Monument as we honor the renowned minister and civil rights activist, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in a special program.
10:00 am -- 11:00 am: Screening of The African Burial Ground: An American Discovery Parts One and Two (The Search and A History).
11:00 am -- 11:30 am: Ranger-led tour of the artwork in the lobby of the Ted Weiss Federal Building.
1:00 pm -- 2:00 pm: Screening of The African Burial Ground: An American Discovery Parts Three and Four.
2:00 pm -- 2:30 pm: Ranger-led tour of the Outdoor Memorial.
A special activity table will be set up both days in the visitor center.
Fees
This event is free to attend.
Location
The movie screenings will be held in the African Burial Ground National Monument Visitor Center at 290 Broadway. The Ranger-led tours will meet in the visitor center at 11 am and 2 pm.
