Eagle Watch Weekends at Lackawaxen
The Delaware Highlands Conservancy also offers additional eagle-viewing programming, some which do require registration and/or fees. However, eagle watching at the Lackawaxen river access is free of charge and does not require registration.
Bundle up, bring your binoculars, and join us for Eagle Watch Weekends in January and February!
From 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays in January and February, volunteers with the Delaware Highlands Conservancy will be stationed at the Lackawaxen River Access to answer questions, provide eagle watching tips, and teach visitors about eagles and proper eagle-viewing ettiquette.
On Eagle Watch Weekends, the Zane Grey Museum will be also be open to the public. In addition to exhibits on Zane Grey, the famous Western author, temporary eagle exhibits will be available for viewing.
Please note that the Zane Grey Museum and Eagle Watch weekend programming may be cancelled in the case of inclement or hazardous weather.

The Zane Grey Museum is located at 135 Scenic Drive, Lackawaxen, PA 18435. The Lackawaxen River Access is located across the road from the Zane Grey Museum. Parking is available.
