Description
A 45-60 minute walk thorugh a famous redwood grove to learn about some of the natural history and importance of redwood trees. Trail is not paved and has a slight incline.
Come prepared: dress for the weather; wear sturdy hiking shoes or boots with non-slip soles.
Meet at Lady Bird Johnson Grove Trailhead: From Orick, Calif.: Drive ~1 mile north on U.S. 101 and turn right (west) onto Bald Hills Road. Continue ~2.5 miles on Bald Hills Road to signed parking area and trailhead on right-hand side of Bald Hills Road.
