The three-run event includes a 1-mile kids run beginning at 9:00 AM; and a 4-mile run and a 7-mile run beginning at 10:00 AM. All times are Eastern Standard Time.
Description
Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area is partnering with the Knoxville Track Club to hold three trail runs on the scenic Oscar Blevins Nature Trail.
This is a low key event with no age group or overall awards presented. Each participant will receive a T-shirt commemorating the event as a part of the park's 20th Annual Spring Planting & Music Festival.
Day of race registration will be available but day of race participants will not receive a T-shirt.
After the run, participants are encouraged to enjoy a wide array of activities at the park’s annual festival celebrating traditional Appalachian life and music.
