Step inside the palisade and experience life in a fur trade fort.

Join us on the last Saturday of each month for Fort Vancouver Fur Trade Saturdays, a recurring living history program that brings the 19th-century Hudson’s Bay Company era to life.

Fun visitor experiences include:

  • Living history demonstrations of trades, domestic skills, and cultural practices
  • Guided tours exploring the people and stories of the fur trade period
  • Historic weapons firing demonstrations

Through immersive interpretation and hands-on experiences, this program invites the public to explore the daily lives of those who lived and worked at this vital hub of international commerce and cultural exchange.
