COPPER WIRE WRAP CRAFT PROGRAM Monroe, Michigan – The River Raisin National Battlefield Park announces the Copper Wire Wrap Craft Program on March 4, 2023.
There are two timeslots available for participation. First timeslot is from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The second timeslot is from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
The program will take place at River Raisin National Battlefield Park’s Visitor Center at 333 North Dixie Hwy., Monroe, MI 48162.
This program is free to the public, pre-registration is required. Call the Visitor Center to register for this program at (734) 243-7136.
Learn about the significance of copper in Michigan. Using copper wire, you will learn one of the oldest techniques for making homemade jewelry; wire wrap. Having tried a few different approaches to the art, you will leave with an example you have created.
