Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park will commemorate Memorial Day by honoring those who have given their all. The event is free and open to the public. Porgramming is for those who would like to volunteer in honor of a fallen service member. The activites of the day will include the following:
- Volunteer Service Project - putting up fencing and clearing underbrush
- Compare and Contrast Modern and Civil War Soldiers
- Guided Hike to the top of Kennesaw Mountain
- Memorial Day Program at top of Kennesaw Mountain
