Description
One of the most powerful ways to tour a battlefield is to walk in the footsteps of the soldiers who fell in combat. Face of Battle is designed to follow one soldier in combat. You'll learn about their personal thoughts, reasons for fighting, what the regiment did in combat, and what one soldier's death meant to their comrades and family.
Face of Battle programs on Saturdays between June 7th and July 19th will focus on soldiers from the First Battle of Manassas. If you are interested in Face of Battle for Second Manassas, join us on Saturdays between July 26th and August 30th!
All programs are weather and staffing dependent. If you have any questions, please check with visitor center staff on the day of your visit.
