Description

Do you know what Flag Day is?
In honor of Flag Day, join us on June 15th at 1 p.m. in the visitor center for a Flag Day presentation. Learn more about the evolution and history of the flags used during the years of the American Revolution, leading up to the flag that Betsy Ross Flag created, adopted by the U.S. Congress on June 14, 1777. Presenter Kavan Stull of the Sons of the American Revolution will also discuss Revolutionary war uniforms, tricorn hats, lottery issue coats, waist costs, pants, socks, and style of shoe in connection to the song, ""Yankee Doodle."
