Special Cultural Performance featuring Gary and Elsie Elthie and Farrell Nez

Friday, May 22, 2026  – 1:00 p.m.
Along the Canyon Rim Trail by Hopi House - Outdoors

Feel the rhythm. Hear the heartbeat. Join Gary and Elsie Elthie and Farrell Nez from the Diné (Navajo) Nation for traditional and contemporary Native American music and dance, including performances from their Diné heritage.

This is more than a performance. It’s a rare chance to connect with the cultures of the tribes who have called the Grand Canyon home for generations.

Don’t just visit the Canyon—experience its living story..

All outdoor programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather or when lightning danger is present. The program is free of charge. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
