Description

Come help the National Park Service, the Watershed Stewards Program, and the Point Reyes National Seashore Association restore riparian habitat for salmon by removing invasive French broom and planting willows.

Please RSVP on the event's Google form or contact Teague Tran or Marelle Arndt at 415-464-5206 or by email (Teague or Marelle) if you have any questions. Tools, gloves, and rain boots will be provided. Refreshments will be available. This is a rain or shine event, so please dress accordingly.

Please bring water in a reusable water bottle, lunch, wear closed toed shoes, and dress appropriately for outdoor work (e.g., long pants and rain gear and/or sun protection). Volunteers of all ages are welcome.

The mission of the Watershed Stewards Program (WSP) is to conserve restore and enhance anadromous Watersheds for future generations by linking education with high quality scientific practices. A program of the California Conservation Corps, the WSP is one of the most productive programs for employment in the natural resources field. The WSP is administered by California volunteers and sponsored by the corporation for national and community service.
