Description
How did the enslaved community use the wilderness? Discover the different ways as you take a lantern guided walk back into the Jack-O-Lantern Branch Trail on Saturday, October 19, 2019. During these tours, you will encounter reenactors who portray enslaved people as they use the forest to hunt, gather, bury their dead, and to escape, if only briefly, from the bonds of slavery.
Tours are open to all ages however RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED! Contact the park today at 540/721-2094 to attend one of these lantern guided evening walks!
