Come join the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail Rangers as we share our story at the Appalachian Trails Days Festival in Damascus, Virginia!
The Damascus Trail Center shares the importance of Southwest Virginia in being home to three National Trails: The Appalachian Trail, the Virginia Creeper Trail, and the Overmountain Victory Trail. Come join thousands of trail enthusiasts and AT Thru-Hikers as we celebrate everything trails!
We will be located near the Damascus Trail Center Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with displays about the Overmountain Victory Trail and the experience of those "thru-hikers" who made their journey in 1780.
As part of the many programs and lectures during the festival, catch us at the Damascus Trail Center Friday at 1pm as we discuss who we are and how we operate, and our partners the Overmountain Victory Trail Association will be presenting their storytelling at the Damascus Trail Center Saturday at 4pm.
