Description

This program will introduce visitors to Harpers Ferry's former gun-making industry and showcase the use of those weapons. Park rangers and living history volunteers dressed in civilian and military period clothing will display Harpers Ferry weapons and technology along Arsenal Square. During the afternoon, join a historic weapons firing demonstration. Experience the tradition and echo off the mountains of flintlock and percussion weapons proving the town's 19th century contribution to the industrial age. Please be prepared for loud noises. Special thanks to the Harpers Ferry Park Association for their support of this event.
