Along the Canyon Rim Trail by Hopi House - Outdoors 

Activities – 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • Exhibits, Life-Size Butterfly Wings, Monarch Face Painting and Much More! Perfect for Junior Rangers! 

Ranger Talks - 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

  • From their huge migrations to what’s on their dinner plate, come learn about what makes the Monarch butterfly so special and what is now making them more rare.

All outdoor programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather or when lightning danger is present. The programs and activities are free of charge. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Location

Located in the Village HIstoric District, opposite El Tovar hotel, on the other side of the large circular driveway, Hopi House is a three-story stepped stone masonry structure with sandstone walls with parapets. Hopi House is adjacent to the Canyon Rim Trail, that runs alongside the north end of the building, overlooking the canyon landscape.
