Nature has inspired poets and poetry for all literary history. Come flex your creative muscle and enjoy springtime at Dumbarton Oaks Park. We will look at odes and sonnets inspired by nature and how it is reflected in verse. Then take some time to craft and share (optionally) our own in this outdoor poetry workshop as part of National Poetry Month!
This program meets at the circle of logs just up the path from the bridge inside of Dumbarton Oaks Park.
