Learn about Tubman’s early life in Maryland, the forces which brought her to choose Auburn, New York as her home, and how her work and service influenced the Auburn community. The Equal Rights Heritage Center is wheelchair accessible (30 min).

Meet in the courtyard of the Equal Rights Heritage Center (25 South Street, Auburn, NY 13021). There is a free parking garage on Lincoln Street, on the north side of the center.
