Description

Celebrate Mother’s Day by coming out to Russell Cave on May 12, 2019 at 2:00 PM CST to have a “hoot” of a time.  “Wings to Soar”, a non-profit, birds of prey, environmental education organization, will present a one-hour program featuring several owls, hawks, and other raptors.  Their mission is to educate people about magnificent birds of prey (raptors).  The best way to accomplish this is by bringing live birds of prey to the park and letting people see them up close.  This lively and informative presentation will feature a variety of birds, many of which are free flying for an unforgettable close encounter!

UPDATE:

This event will be rain or shine.  In the event of rain, the program will be moved inside and seating will be first come, first serve.   Due to limited spacing and fire codes, a cap may be placed on the number of attendees inside, so be sure to arrive early.
