Description

Join our partner, the Paul Revere House, for a Handmade Craft Demonstration and Sale!

Erich and Janice Steinhagen bring their 18th century craft techniques all the way from Connecticut for a two-day holiday season residency as they demonstrate redware pottery production and the fiber art of spinning in the Paul Revere House's Revere Room. Erich will be throwing pots on the wheel while Janice spins sheep’s wool or flax into yarn. Finished products will be available for sale!

While the crafters share their techniques on the ground floor of the Paul Revere House Visitor Center, R.P. Hale will provide an 18th and 19th century Advent soundtrack in the second floor exhibit space, playing the harpsichord and virginal he meticulously crafted himself based on period originals.
