Description
Celebrate summer, music, and all things sonic at Denali National Park!
- Noon: Soundscape scientist Davyd Betchkal will present a scientific talk about detecting bird species automatically by their song.
- 3 PM: Join Davyd at the Denali Visitor Center, where he'll set up a pop-up table for visitors to come through and discover the nature of his research—monitoring and recording the natural and human-caused sounds in Denali's wild landscape.
- 7 PM: A concert at the Denali Visitor Center. Admission is free!
- 8 PM: Celebrate the 60th anniversary of Alaska Geographic after the concert! AK Geo will provide birthday cake and lemonade in front of the bookstore, adjacent to the Denali Visitor Center.
