Glow-worms, Lightning Bugs, and Millipedes - Ranger-led Night Hike to discover “Creatures of the Night”
Glow-worms, Lightning Bugs, and Millipedes - Ranger-led Night Hike to discover "Creatures of the Night"
Many creatures of the night call the Obed home. Some are bioluminescent such as glow-worms and lightening bugs, while others fluoresce to a glowing blue color under a black light. Join our ranger on June 13th at 9:00 p.m. for an easy/moderate 1-mile night hike on the Overlook and Boulder Trails to discover these creatures of the night.
Please bring a red-light headlamp or red-light flashlight. A limited number of black lights will be on-hand.
