Description
Join composer-performer Ben Cosgrove for an evening of music inspired by landscape, place, and the environment. Cosgrove is in Lava Beds National Monument as an artist-in-residence with NASA’s GEODES team. GEODES is studying tools and methods for exploring the surfaces of rocky worlds, like our Moon and near-Earth asteroids. Following the performance, members of the GEODES team will share some of the tools they’ll use to explore other worlds.
Presentation will run a1 hour in length, and reservations are not required.
