2 separate programs will be taking place, a walking tour at 10 am and bike tour at 1 pm. You are welcome to attend both.

Description

Ranger Walk at 10 am
Join a ranger to discover the vibrant community that formed at Four Locks by the economic activity of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal. The tour is approximately 1.5 hours and will cover less than 1 mile. Meet at the Four Locks Boat Ramp Parking Lot. Please plan accordingly. Wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water.
 
Ranger Bike Ride at 1 pm
Ride with a ranger for a relaxed pace bicycle ride through the historic canal community of Four Locks The group will proceed upstream past McCoy's Ferry to Big Pool, with a goal of a round trip of 16 miles. Please prepare accordingly. Helmets mandatory. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring plenty of water. Meet at the Four Locks Boat Ramp Parking Lot.
