Wildflower Festival Walks
What does it take to thrive above 10,000ft? Explore the wildflowers blooming at Cedar Breaks National Monument and learn how they survive and thrive in the park. Wildflower Walks will begin at the park’s Picnic Area. The walks will be led by park rangers, interns, and volunteers and will last approximately 45 minutes. The programs will follow the Sunset Trail which meets outdoor accessibility guidelines, but visitors should be prepared to walk up to a mile.
Fees
All visitors entering Cedar Breaks National Monument are required to pay an entrance fee or display a valid America the Beautiful Interagency Pass.
Location
Wildflower Walks will begin at the park’s Picnic Area which is on the southern end of the park. Look for signs pointing to the campground and picnic area. Parking is limited. Please park in designated spaces only.

The guided portion of the walk will last 45 minutes, visitors will then be able to explore the wildflowers of the park on their own before returning to the trailhead at their own pace.
