Follow in the steps of the Massachusetts Woman's Suffrage Association state convention, held in Lowell in 1910. Our hike will begin at the corner of Thorndike and Summer Streets at the top of South Common, and will make its way downtown, visiting locations where women's suffrage activists gave lectures, held open air meetings, and advocated for their cause. Learn about local activists and follow in their footsteps around the city. This hike is offered as part of Women's Equality Weekend, which honors the passage of the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote.

This free program starts at 10 a.m. Please dress for the weather and bring plenty of water.
