Join us for a dynamic performance and discussion with, Fred Hersch and Chaney Sims! Dr. Stephanie Doktor will guide us in a discussion of their music as we explore together the journey their careers have taken as LGBTQ+ artists in the world of Jazz and how the Evolution of FREEDOM has impacted and continues to impact the world of Jazz Music!
The Evolution of Freedom series seeks to expand our understanding of themes of freedom through the exploration of shared national and international narratives, and expressions of collective memory through the arts.
REGISTRATION AND WATCH OPTIONS: Tickets are free and open to the public, BUT there are two ways to watch.
Option 1: Private Stream: Individual registration is required for the private stream with the live chat and Q&A options. Register here by clicking the "TICKETS" button. Leading up to the event you will receive a follow up e-mail with the direct link to the private stream.
Option 2: Public Stream: Registration is not required for the public stream, however chat features will not be available in the public stream.
