The Peninsula Foundation presents Poetry in the Valley, hosted every 5th Tuesday at the G.A.R Hall.

Featured Readers: Concrete Wink (Rikki Santer, Chuck Salmons, Sandy Feen)

Rikki Santer's work has won grand prize short-lists for the Eric Hoffer Book Award and the Paul Nemser Book Prize from Lily Poetry Review Books. In 2023, she was named Ohio Poet of the Year and currently serves as Artist-in-Residence at the Fran Ryan Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Chuck Salmons’ poems have appeared in Chiron Review, Evening Street Review, The Ekphrastic Review, Main Street Rag, and other journals. He has published four poetry collections.

Sandra Feen’s recent multi-genre collection, written with Cliff Treyens, has been nominated for two Pushcart Prizes and the 2026 Ohio Book Award. She is the 2022-2024 Ohio Beat Poet Laureate, and co-hosts The Muse’s Mic, with James Bryant.
