Valley Forge 50/250 Celebration: Closing Ceremony

When: Saturday, July 5, 2026 from 10am to 4pm

Where: Muhlenberg's Brigade

The July 4th weekend celebrations come to a close on Sunday with a day of living history demonstrations at Muhlenberg's Brigade and closing remarks in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of Valley Forge National Historical Park and the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

The park will be extremely busy this day. Please plan accordingly. More event-specific trip-planning materials and transportation information will be available in late Spring 2026.

The Valley Forge 50/250 Celebration Closing Ceremony and living history programming will take place at Muhlenberg's Brigade, near the reconstructed log soldier huts.

Camp Life programming is ongoing between 10am and 4pm. Musket firing demonstrations take place at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm. The Closing Ceremony takes place at 2:30pm.
