To Defeat the Pupose of the Secessionists: April 1861--The Burning of the Armory

Follow the tense moments of April 18th, 1861 and the burning of the town's US Armory. During the early moments of the Civil War, US officer Lt. Roger Jones faced secessionists at the town's arms-making plant. Each day from 1-4pm, experience a display of historic weapons on Arsenal Square and at 2pm, a special ranger talk.
