Join our official park Friends group, Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy, for:

Nature Bathing 

Presented by Walk with a Doc

Description: Experience the full beauty of the Sope Creek unit with our Nature Bathing walk in the woods. Nature Bathing or Forest Bathing is a practice that can be as simple as walking in any natural environment and consciously connecting with what’s around you.  After indulging in the rejuvenating effects of nature bathing, you are invited to join us as we explore the park. Aleksandra Rakita-Jeremic, MS, CST (Licensed Professional Counselor), will be available during our stroll through the woods to answer your questions and offer you tools to unlock nature's healing powers. 

Doctor: Aleksandra Rakita-Jeremic, MS, CST (Licensed Professional Counselor)

Difficulty: Easy to Moderate. Note there are no restrooms at Sope Creek.

Bring: Wear shoes suitable for forest trails. Remember to wear layers, bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray. 

Restrictions: No Children under 14 and No Dogs

Limit: 20 persons
