Meet at the Forest Center, Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, Woodstock, VT. Parking for Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park is located at the Billings Farm & Museum. If using a GPS, please enter "69 Old River Rd, Woodstock, VT 05091". To enter the National Park, take the paved path to the right of the Billings Farm & Museum Visitor Center, walk up and cross the street, and then take the right fork and walk 1/8 mile to reach the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park Forest Center.

Description
Experience the magic of the October Supermoon with Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park Rangers on October 17th as we hike to South Peak for a breathtaking moonrise!
The hike will begin at the Forest Center at 5:00 PM, featuring a brief astronomy exploration session before we set off with our flashlights through the park.
This 4-mile roundtrip hike includes approximately 600 feet of elevation gain on carriage roads, with some sections of steep terrain.
Reservations are required! Please sign up in advance on Recreation.gov.
Be sure to arrive with reliable flashlights (headlamps preferred), sturdy shoes, water, and warm layers, as it will be chilly!
