Wheel, Legs and Sail
One wheel, two legs, and a literal prairie schooner. Emigrants were very creative when it came to their transportation. They cobbled together whatever they could get their hands on for this life altering quest. Join Park Ranger Eric Graves on the Oregon Trail to hear about the many different ways emigrants traveled, and attempted to travel, from the Missouri to the Pacific Coast. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be moved to inside the visitor center.

Location
The program will take place on the Oregon Trail Pathway, just west of the Scotts Bluff National Monument visitor center. The visitor center is located at 190276 Old Oregon Trail in Gering, Nebraska.
