Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail Ambassador PRIDE OF BALTIMORE II will be visiting Cambridge, MD!

 PRIDE II will be offering deck tours and day sails. Also there will be an educational shoreside display near the ship and volunteers from the Chesapeake Independent Blues will provide living history representations of the Maryland citizen-soldiers during the War of 1812. An NPS ranger will also be onsite for junior ranger activities.  The Choptank Lighthouse will also be open.

This event is in partnership with the Dorchester County Tourism, City of Cambridge, NATHAN OF DORCHESTER, and Choptank River Lighthouse.

Sunday, May 30

12 PM - 5 PM – Chesapeake Independent Blues living history demonstration and National Park Service outreach tent with junior ranger activities; Choptank Lighthouse open.
12 PM - 2 PM – PRIDE II deck tours & shoreside display
1 PM – "Three Lives of the Lighthouse" talk by Jim Duffy of the Choptank River Lighthouse & Secrets of the Eastern Shore. Location: Near the NATHAN OF DORCHESTER.
2 PM – Skipjack & Bay Ecology Talk hosted by the skipjack NATHAN OF DORCHESTER.
3 PM - 5 PM - PRIDE II sail
