Pasties, first brought to the Keweenaw by Cornish miners, are an iconic and defining food in the Copper Country. Like many traditional foods they connect people to their heritage and home…and home away from home. Learn about pasties as reported by historic newspapers, magazines, and picture postcards. Share your stories about traditional foods and their connections to heritage and home.

 

This program will be held on the third floor of the Calumet Visitor Center, 98 5th St. Calumet, MI, and is free and open to the public.
