Description
Please join us on Saturday, July 13 to celebrate Maggie L. Walker's 155th birthday! Featured events include open house tours (10am - 2pm), the Common Good Fair (11am - 2pm), a recognition ceremony for students in the Maggie L. Walker Youth Summer Leadership Institute (begins at 11:30am), shuttles to and from the Maggie L. Walker Memorial Plaza, and music and refreshments at the Walker statue (12pm - 2pm)! Please note that the 100 block of East Leigh Street (Walker's block) will be closed to pedestrian traffic during the event.
