Description
The Annual North Rim Grand Canyon Butterfly Count will take place Thursday, July 25, 2019. If you have an interest, meet the group at 9:30 am at the North Rim Visitor Center. There is a $3.00 fee to participate in the count.
This will be a low-key adventure to learn more about butterfly names, and their natural history. Some road-stretches will be unpaved, but passable for most vehicles.
Bring binoculars, cameras, and field guides if you need them. Non-permitted collecting within the park boundaries isn't allowed, permitted voucher specimens will go to the Grand Canyon National Park's Museum Collection and Archive.
