Friends of Peirce Mill Teahouse Event

Peirce Mill was not always a grist mill. After the mill closed in the 1890s, the space was turned into a popular socializing and dining experience - a tea room! Friends of Peirce Mill and the National Park Service are reopening Peirce Mill as the Tea House for one day for visitors to experience this unique space.

Enjoy tea, treats, and music, and learn more about the women who ran teahouses and how Peirce Mill was part of the tea room craze in America. We hope you consider dressing up like the customers of the Peirce Mill Tea House from the 1920s! There will be plenty of vintage photo ops to flaunt your garb!
