Special Event
Confederate General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson died in the farm office on Fairfield Plantation on May 10, 1863. Today this small structure is the only building left of what was a much larger slave plantation complex before the Civil War and a bustling supply hub during the war. This complicated place has many stories to tell.
