Visitors will meet at the ferry dock flagpole in Fire Island Pines. Visitors coming from Long Island should plan to arrive via the 9:25am ferry from Sayville. The group will hike from Fire Island Pines to Sailors Haven.

Description
Take the 9:25 ferry from Sayville to the F.I. Pines and meet up with a ranger at the ferry dock flagpole for a walk from the Fire Island Pines to Fire Island National Seashore, exploring the rich and varied natural and cultural landscape. You may return to the Pines on foot/by water taxi, or take the ferry from Sailors Haven back to Sayville.
Participants will be asked to follow CDC guidelines for COVID-19. We ask the public to be our partner in recreating responsibly by adopting social distancing practices and by wearing a face covering when social distancing cannot be maintained.
